World Water Day is celebrated world wide on 22^nd March to aware people on water related issues. The theme for World Water Day this year was “Sanitation Matters!” ECCA also celebrated World Water day on 22^nd March, 2008 in coordination with 14 different organizations. program started at 8:00 AM in the morning with heritage walk along Bagmati River from Teku Dovan to Thapathali. Then the mass turned into a rally towards Kathmandu Darbar square to join in Exhibition. ECCA managed photo exhibition and stall to demonstrate the condition of Bagmati River. The program was observed and participated by thousands of visitors in the Kathmandu Darbar Square area.
